Web7 Jul 2011 · I've found (for my taste) G-10 smooth scales while not AS grippy still have a very grippy feel and without the rougher texture should be easier on the pocket. I like sheaths for larger knives so the Manix G-10 scales weren't a problem for my pocket. The D'fly would be in my pocket though and the smooth G-10 should be about perfect for me. My only issue with the Cat is that it has a sharp bit of G-10 near the liner lock, which makes it uncomfortable to hold. Dragonfly has no ergonomic issues, but is a touch smaller (but better steel). I'd personally opt for the FRN Dragonfly.
