WebOct 22, 2024 · I took a combination of the 3 files (96.86.0.21 firmware) .bin,.rom,.rfs and renamed them to the phones that had the issue. For me they were all T53W's so I renamed them with 'T53W' in front of the file extension. I used a USB Flash Drive (Quick Format) and copied the files over and was able to successfully update the firmware on the phones. With yealink phones the first digits (97 or 96) denote which model phone the firmware is for. The rest is the actual version of the firmware.
